You can limit rules in a ruleset so that they only apply to employees assigned a specific pay type or pay class.
To add a qualifier to a ruleset in a staff assignment policy:
- Go to Schedule Setup > Staff Assignment Policy and select a staff assignment policy.
- In the Rules and Qualifiers section, select a ruleset.
- Click the add icon (
) and then click Qualifier.
- In the Type drop-down list, select a qualifier. See Staff Assignment Qualifiers.
- Enter a name and, optionally, a description of the qualifier.
- Configure the qualifier by defining its settings.
- Click Save.
