Depending on when you want Dayforce to apply a rule or ruleset, you can configure qualifiers that limit when the rule or ruleset is used to deploy labor. For information about these qualifiers and their settings, see Labor Deployment Qualifiers.
To add a qualifier to a labor deployment rule:
- Go to Plan Setup > Labor Deployment and select a labor deployment policy. A slide-out panel opens.
- In the Rules and Qualifiers section, select the rule or ruleset that you want to add a qualifier to.
- Click the add icon (
) and then click Qualifier.
- Enter a name and, optionally, a description of the qualifier.
- Ensure that the Active checkbox is selected.
- In the Type drop-down list, select a qualifier and configure its settings.
- Click Save.
