Add Option Bundles to Election Sets

You can only add bundled options to election sets for which the Selection Mode field is set to Bundled - Selections contain multiple bundled options. If you want to add individual options, you must either change the selection mode of the election set or create an election set. If you change the selection mode of the election set, all existing options are removed from the election set. See Add Election Sets.

To add a bundle of options to an election set:

  1. Go to Benefits Setup > Enrollments.
  2. In the Load dialog box, open the enrollment that you want to work with.
  3. Click the Sections/Elections tab.
  4. In the left sidebar, click the section and then the election set that you want to add the option bundle to.
  5. In the toolstrip above the left sidebar, click Add, and select Add Option Group.
  6. In the Add Options/Elections dialog box, enter a name for the bundle in the Bundle Name field.
  7. Search for plan options by name and effective dates or by scrolling through the list.
  8. Add all options that you want to include in the bundle by selecting the checkboxes next to each option. For the Mobile and Web enrollment types, you must include only health plan options to the Medical Plans, Dental Plans, Vision Plans, Other Health Plans, and Other Benefit Plans sections.
  9. Click OK to add the options.
  10. Repeat steps 4–8 to add as many bundles and options within those bundles as you require.
  11. Click Save.

When you add a bundle of options, the corresponding icon shows next to the bundle in the sidebar:

To remove an option in the bundle, in the left sidebar, select the option, click Delete, and then Save.

To remove an entire bundle, in the left sidebar, click the bundle name, click Delete, and then Save.
