Add One-Time Exceptions

One-time exceptions can be added to a date directly from the operating hours calendar.

To add a one-time exception:

  1. Go to Plan Setup > Operating Hours and load a location.
  2. Click day on the calendar and then click Add One-Time Exception.
  3. In the Add One-Time Exception dialog box that opens, enter a name, description, and date for the exception.
  4. Define the operating hours for the exception by doing one of the following:
    • Stretch or shrink the green bar to increase or decrease the amount of time that the location is open. You can also drag the bar past midnight to have a shift end on the next day.
    • Click the switch to remove all of the hours and indicate that the location is closed for the selected date. For example, you could a one-time exception for a holiday like New Year’s Day.
  5. Click OK.
