Before You Begin: See Linked Leave Periods.
To link a period of special maternity or safe job leave to an existing maternity record:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Leave Management.
- Select the existing maternity leave record in the list.
- Click Add > Add Linked To Maternity <start date of leave selected>.
- Enter the start date and, optionally, an end date.
- In the Estimated Return Date field, enter a date.
- In the Reason drop-down list, click Safe Job or Special Maternity. Dayforce displays additional fields based on your selection.
- Fill out the additional fields and click Save.
