Your organization can have more than one flex credit plan associated with the benefit plans. The plan year start and end dates of the flex credit plan must align with the plan year dates of the benefit plans to apply the flex credit amounts.
Role feature access: Benefits Setup > Flex Credit Setup > Flex Credit Plans
To add a flex credit plan:
- Go to Benefits Setup > Flex Credit Setup > Flex Credit Plans.
- In the Add drop-down list, click Add Flex Credit Plan.
- In the Add Flex Credit Plan dialog box:
- Enter the flex credit plan's name, description, and reference code.
- Select the date that the flex credit plan is available. The current date is shown in the Effective From field. If you don’t have an end date, you can leave the Effective To field blank.
- Click Add. Dayforce adds the flex credit plan to the left sidebar and lists it based on the most recent effective from date. The fields to configure the flex credit plan details show to the right. See Configure Flex Credit Plan Details.
- Click Save.
Select the Show active only checkbox to show only active flex credit plans for the current and future dates. After creating a flex credit plan, you can copy and localize the flex credit plan. You can delete the flex credit plan until you publish the plan.
