To add a badge:
- Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Work > Badge.
- Click Add.
- In the Badge field, enter a badge number for the employee.
- Click the Effective From field to enter the date when the employee can start clocking in and out using the badge number. By default, Dayforce uses today’s date.
- Click the Effective To field to enter the date when the employee can no longer clock in and out using the badge number. By default, this field is blank and the badge number doesn’t expire.
- Click Save.
Note: The Raw Badge column, if available, shows the employee’s raw badge number that is derived from their physical badge after they clock in or out on a Dayforce clock. The raw badge number in this column is read-only. To show the Raw Badge column, enable the Display Raw Badge role feature in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles.
