This background job controls the Accrual Export, which exports information on balances that employees have accrued.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Export Definition Included | (Optional) The export definitions to use when running the background job. |
Start Date End Date |
The Start Date and End Date fields are used to specify the date ranges that control which balance periods are exported. The export includes any balance periods that end after the start date or that start before the end date. In other words: it exports any balance periods that are active at some point during the specified time span. For example, if you specify February 1 in the Start Date field and February 28 in the End Date field, Dayforce includes any balance periods that start before February 28 or end after February 1. |
Align Dates to Pay Calendars |
By default, Dayforce exports data from any balance periods that fall within the specified date range. With this checkbox selected, the exports data based on pay periods, instead of balance periods. For example, the current date falls with the pay period from 10/30 to 11/12, and overlaps balance periods running from 10/23 to 11/5 and 11/6 to 11/19. With this checkbox cleared, Dayforce exports transactions between 10/23 and 11/19 to capture both of the necessary balance periods. With this checkbox selected, Dayforce only exports transactions from 10/30 to 11/12 to capture the necessary pay period. |
Weeks Before Today Weeks After Today |
Instead of entering specific start and end dates, you can use these fields to specify a number of weeks in the past and future to include in the export. For example, you could use these fields to consistently export the previous week’s data once a week. Important: You must set either the Start Date or the Weeks Before Today setting when running this background job. |
