Before You Begin: By default, Dayforce Touch Clocks aren’t shipped with a battery. However, batteries are available as an optional add-on.
If the Dayforce Touch Clock uses battery power, you can view information about the battery charge level in the Clock Information screen in administrator mode and in the home screen for all users.
Administrators can view the battery percentage level in the Clock Information screen in administrator mode:
All users can view this same information using the battery icon, which is shown on the clock’s main screen in the bottom left corner:
The following example of the administrator mode Clock Information screen shows that the battery charge is now at 99%:
When the battery reaches a charge of 99%, the clock disconnects itself from the power source and runs on the battery. The screenshot below shows what the battery icon looks like in the home screen when the battery is at 99%:
