Update the Clock+ Config File

Administrators can update custom clock configurations and localizations for the Clock+ in the Dayforce application in Site Setup > Clock Configuration.

To update a custom Clock+ configuration:

1. Go to Site Setup > Clock Configuration.
2. In the Device Type drop-down list, select Clock+.
3. The application displays the clock configuration and custom configuration files for the Clock+.
   
3. (Optional) Select a configuration group in the Clock Configuration Group drop-down list. Clock configuration groups allow organizations to have multiple, different clock configurations attached to the application.
4. Modify the custom configuration file in the Clock+ Configuration Override File section, as needed. The custom configuration file determines the behavior of the clock through the definition of several entries or 'keys'. See Clock Program.
5. Click the Validate button.
6. The application prompts you when the validation completes.
7. If the configuration isn’t validated successfully, review the XML you provided in the Clock+ Configuration Override File section and correct any errors.
8. Alternatively, if the configuration in the Localization tab isn’t validated successfully, review the XML you provided in the Clock+ Localization Override File section and correct any errors.
9. The application displays a prompt to confirm.
6. Click Yes.
