Single and Multiple Transfer Functions
Depending on your clock’s configuration, you might have different transfer functions. You can use these transfer functions only after you clock in for your shift.

Submit only one transfer in a transaction. After you click Transfer, the clock shows the Transfer dialog box with the available transfer options:

Standalone Transfer Functions and Transfer Types
Depending on your clock’s configuration, you might not have access to the Transfer or Transfers buttons. The clock might show standalone transfer functions in the All clock functions dialog box. The clock supports several transfer types, with each function name and purpose described in the table below.

| Work Transfer | Transfer to another qualified location and job assignment. |
| Docket Transfer Docket Quantity |
Transfer to an eligible docket and specify the docket quantity. Sometimes, these transfer options are combined. |
| Labor Metrics Transfer | Transfer between eligible labor metrics. |
| Project Transfer | Transfer to an eligible project. |
| Schedule Transfer |
Transfer to an eligible schedule segment. Note: This function isn’t available in the Transfer dialog box or in the Transfers screen. It’s available only as a standalone transfer function. |
To specify the transfer’s details, you need to either:
- Select a transfer option from a list.
- Enter specific transfer codes, such as location or docket codes.
Whether you must select from a list of transfer options or populate the transfer details yourself depends on your clock’s configuration.

To record a single transfer:
- In the login screen, follow the prompts to log in.
- Complete any verification steps that the clock prompts.
- In the home screen, clock in to start your shift.
- Click View all clock functions and then do one of the following, depending on how your clock is configured:
- Click Transfer and then select a transfer function. The clock shows the transfer functions that you have access to. Functions include:
- Work Transfer
- Docket Transfer
- Docket Quantity
- Project Transfer
- Labor Metrics Transfer
- Click a standalone transfer function. Functions include:
- Work Transfer
- Docket Transfer
- Docket Quantity
- Project Transfer
- Labor Metrics Transfer
- Schedule Transfer
- Click Transfer and then select a transfer function. The clock shows the transfer functions that you have access to. Functions include:
- The clock opens a new screen based on your selection. For example, if you clicked Work Transfer, the clock shows the Work Transfer screen.
- Do one of the following, depending on the clock prompt:
- Select a transfer option from the list.
- Enter a transfer code, such as a location code.
- Depending on the type of transfer that you’re recording, the clock might open another screen and prompt you with more selections or to enter more data.
- After you’ve specified the transfer details, the clock indicates whether the transfer was successful.
To record multiple transfers in a single transaction:
- In the login screen, follow the prompts to log in.
- Complete any verification steps that the clock prompts.
- In the home screen, clock in to start your shift.
- Click View all clock functions and then click Transfers. The clock shows the multi-transfer functions that you have access to. Selections include:
- Work Transfer
- Project
- Docket and Quantity
- Labor Metrics Transfer
- Click the Select button for the first transfer that you want to record. The clock opens a new screen based on your selection. For example, if you clicked Work Transfer, the clock shows the Work Transfer screen.
- Do one of the following, depending on the clock prompt:
- Select a transfer option from the list.
- Enter a transfer code, such as a location code.
- Depending on the type of transfer that you’re recording, the clock might open another screen and prompt you with more selections or to enter more data.
- After you’ve specified the transfer details, the clock returns to the Transfers screen.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 to record additional transfers. The clock marks the transfers that you’ve recorded with the transfer details:

- (Optional) To edit the transfers that you’ve recorded, either:
- Click Edit Selection to return to the list of transfer options and make a new selection.
- Click the delete icon (
) to remove the transfer.
- Click Save to submit the multi-transfer. The clock indicates whether your transfers were successful.
