This section describes how to set up clock configuration groups. You can use clock configuration groups to support and manage multiple clocks that are configured differently. Each clock configuration group has a unique configuration which is assigned to each clock that belongs to the configuration group. This functionality provides you with the ability to create multiple, alternative clock configurations in Dayforce and assign them to the appropriate clocks.
You can include different device types in a single clock configuration group. For example, you can create a configuration group that includes a unique configuration for Dayforce Touch Clock and Clock+ devices.
The following clock types are supported in clock configuration groups:
- Dayforce Clock Pro
- Dayforce Touch Clock
- Clock+
After you set up a clock configuration group, you can select it in Site Setup > Clock Configuration to configure and apply your customized configuration to the clock devices in the group.
