Record a Schedule Transfer

Depending on how your Dayforce Touch Clock is configured, you might be able to perform schedule transfers. You can manually perform schedule transfers when you have schedule segments associated with your shift. A segment represents a portion of the shift where your shift details change. For example, if you are typically assigned to more than one project per shift, each project might be represented by its own segment.

Unlike other transfer types, schedule transfers are preconfigured with shift details. When you have schedule transfers available, the segment details are read-only.

You can perform schedule transfers only after you’ve clocked in for your shift.

To record a schedule transfer:

  1. Tap Schedule Transfer. The clock shows the Schedule Segment Transfer screen with all available segments:
  2. Schedule Segment Transfer screen showing shift details like its start and end time and location.
  3. Note: If you don’t have any schedule segments to transfer to, the clock indicates that there are no transfers available.
  4. Tap the schedule segment you want to transfer to.
  5. Tap Submit.
