When assigned to a clock device group, employees can perform clock entries only on devices that belong to the same clock device group to which they were assigned. Employees can be assigned to multiple clock device groups, while clock devices themselves belong to only one group.
To manually assign employees to a clock device group:
- Go to Pay Setup > Clock Device Group.
- Expand the group you want to add employees to.
- In the Employee sub-tab, click Add.
- Click the Employee drop-down list, select the employee to assign to the group.
- Click Save.
