Maintenance

From time to time, you might need to perform certain maintenance tasks that involve updating the clock’s software or restarting the clock.

The following maintenance functions are available in the Administrator Mode screen on the clock:

Button Function
Software Update button.

By default, the clock automatically checks for software updates at the interval or time specified in its config file. However, you can also tap this button to manually check for software updates.

Clock Information button.

Tap this button to view information about the clock, such as its IP address, its Wi-Fi MAC address, its ethernet MAC address, and the software versions installed on it.

Restart Clock button.

Tap this button to restart the clock.

Lock Screen button.

Tap this button to lock the screen so that you can clean the clock without accidentally tapping buttons.

By default, the clock locks the screen for one minute. You can unlock the screen before the timeout elapses by touching and holding the Unlock button for two seconds.

Call Home button.

Tap this button to run the Call Home thread to communicate with the Admin Server.
