Depending on how your clock is configured, you might have different options for logging in. Further, you might have to perform steps to verify your identity.
Note: Your clock might be configured for automatic clocking. Automatic clocking is a function where your clock entry is automatically submitted when you log in. See Clock In or Out.
To log in to the clock:
- In the login screen, do one of the following as prompted by the clock:
- Enter your badge number.
- Scan or swipe your physical badge.
- Submit your finger for a biometric scan.
- (Dayforce Clock Pro only) Position yourself in front of the camera for picture capture or facial verification.
- Enter your PIN.
- See Verification Steps for Logging In.
- Complete any additional verification steps that the clock prompts. If the clock opens a new screen with prompts, two navigational options are shown:
- Back: Return to the previous screen.
- Cancel: Cancel the login process and return to the login screen.
- When you’ve logged in successfully, the clock shows the home screen with the Clock tab open, by default:

Verification Steps for Logging In
The clock might prompt you to complete one or more of the following verification steps when you log in.

Place your finger on the scanner. Depending on how the clock is configured, you might have to submit two fingers for scanning. You might also have to lift your finger between scans. The clock also shows two options on the left side of the screen:

Stand in front of the camera so that the clock can take a picture or perform a facial verification. The clock also shows two options on the left side of the screen:
