Hardware Diagnostics

You can run hardware diagnostic tests to identify issues with the clock hardware, such as issues with the battery or speakers. The tests available on the clock depend on the clock’s model number.

To run hardware diagnostics:

  1. Go to the Administrator Mode screen.
  2. Tap Hardware Diagnostics. The clock shows a list of the available tests:
  3. List of tests available, including tests for brightness, screen calibration, and relay control.
  4. You can either run individual tests, or run all of the tests in sequence by tapping Run All. For tests that require user action or input, the clock shows prompts on the screen:
  5. Brightness test running, with the clock asking the user if they noticed brightness changes.
  6. As the clock completes tests, it updates the icon next to the test to indicate whether it passed or failed, and updates the tally and progress bar at the top of the screen:
  7. Diagnostics screen showing three passed tests and one failed test.
