Before you can start using the clock, you must first install it using the instructions in the Dayforce Clock Pro Hardware Guide. This document is available at go.dayforce.com/global-time-clock-manuals.html.
The clock supports two forms of power supply: external power supply and Power over Ethernet (PoE). If the external power supply is connected when you turn on the clock, the clock uses the external power supply rather than PoE. If the external power supply is later removed, the clock won’t use PoE until you restart the clock. For more information about restarting the clock, see Clock Maintenance (Dayforce Clock Pro Only).
