Configure Clock Surveys

To configure a clock survey:

  1. Go to Site SetupClock Surveys > Survey Setup and click Add.
  2. In the Basic Details section:
    1. Enter a survey name and description.
    2. Configure an effective period.
    3. Specify the survey frequency.
  3. Click Next.
  4. In the Audience section:
    • Assign employees to the survey in the Assignments tab. See Audience.
    • Configure secondary conditions in the Conditions tab:
      1. Select either And or Or.
      2. Select a condition type.
      3. Select an operator.
      4. Select a condition value.
      5. (Optional) Add another conditional expression or grouping.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the Content Builder section, do one of the following:
    • Leave the Nested Questions checkbox cleared to configure a linear hierarchy of questions:
      1. Click Add Question and select a question from the list.
      2. Repeat for any additional questions required.
      3. If necessary, rearrange the question hierarchy.
    • Click Nested Questions to configure a nested hierarchy of questions:
      1. Click Add Question and select a question from the list.
      2. Repeat for any additional questions required.
      3. Use the connectors to create links between your question nodes.
      4. Important: Remember to create links between your question nodes in a logical manner.
  7. Click Next.
  8. (Optional) In the Actions section:
    • Click Add Action and configure the following:
      1. Select either And or Or.
      2. Select a question.
      3. Select an operator.
      4. Select a response.
      5. Select the clock response: either Clear Fingerprint Templates, Clear Facial Templates, Reject Clock Entry, or Exit Function.
      6. If necessary, add another expression or grouping for the clock action.
    • Repeat these steps to add more actions.
  9. Click Next.
  10. In the Review & Publish section, review the clock survey and do one of the following:
    • Click Previous to return to a previous section of the wizard for editing. Alternatively, you can click a specific step to return to that section.
    • Click Save to save the survey without pushing it to clock devices.
    • Click Publish to publish the survey. It will appear on clock devices after reaching the effective start date you entered.

After you click Publish, the survey is both saved and published to the appropriate clock devices. Published surveys are marked with the published icon in the side panel of the Survey Setup sub-feature:

In the screenshot above, “Biometric Survey” is published and “Hygiene Survey” is saved but not published (that is, in a draft state).
