Configuration for Administrators

This section describes how to set up the Dayforce Clock Pro and Clock+ to meet your organization’s needs. You customize the clocks’ functionality using a configuration (or “config”) file where you can enable the following, and more:

  • Functions such as the ability to clock in and out for shifts, record transfers, and view clock entries and schedules.
  • Validations that the clocks perform on clock entries, including biometric and badge verification.

You can also modify the clocks’ text using a localization file. The configuration and localization files are available to view and customize in Site SetupClock Configuration. The following topics describe how to update the configuration and localization files:
