Configuration

This section describes how to set up the Dayforce Touch Clock to meet your organization’s needs. You customize the clock’s functionality using a configuration (or “config”) file where you can enable the following:

• Functions such as the ability to clock in and out for shifts, record transfers, and view clock entries and schedules.
• Features such as self-service modes for both employees and managers.
• Validations the clock performs on clock entries, including biometric, facial, and badge verification.

Similarly, you can modify the clock’s text using a localization file. The configuration and localization files are available to view and customize in Site Setup > Clock Configuration. The following topics describe how to update the configuration and localization files:
