Dayforce’s Clock is a web-based clock with fewer functions that employees can use to record their worked time. Employees can use the Clock only to clock in and out for their shifts and meals. Unlike the Dayforce Touch Clock and the Clock+, the Clock isn’t customizable. For example, there’s no custom config file for the Clock in Site Setup > Clock Configuration that administrators can use to configure the clock to suit their organization’s needs.
The Clock uses badge verification to authenticate employee clock entries. The Clock doesn’t support other forms of verification to identify employees, such as PIN or biometric verification.
Depending on your configuration, you’ll have one of two user interfaces for your Clock.
