This section describes how administrators can manually synchronize the clock’s data with the server.
By default, the Dayforce Clock Pro automatically synchronizes itself at the interval or time specified in its config file. For example, the clock could be configured to submit clock entries every two hours. However, administrators can also manually submit clock entries.
To locate the synchronization functions on the clock, in the Administrator Mode screen, tap the Server Synchronization button. The clock shows the Server Synchronization screen.
| Button | Function |

| Data Synchronization |
Synchronize the clock’s database with Dayforce. The data that’s updated includes the list of employees, schedules, job assignments, and dockets. |
| Submit Clock Entries |
Submit clock entries to Dayforce. Employees’ timesheets aren’t updated with time recorded on the clock until the clock entries have been submitted, either automatically at the interval or time specified in the config file, or manually by an administrator. |
| Submit Clock Entry Photos | If the clock is configured for picture capture, tap this button to submit the pictures that the clock captured with clock entries to Dayforce. |
| Download All Templates | If the clock is configured for biometric verification, tap this button to send recently enrolled or modified biometric templates to the server, and receive templates from enrollment on other clocks. |
| Update Photo Templates | If the clock is configured for picture capture, tap this button to submit the pictures that the clock captured during photo enrollment (that is, the photo templates). |
| Synchronize Time | Synchronize the time on the clock with the time in Dayforce. |
