When you view employee information in the Employees feature, you can reset an employee’s password on their behalf if the clock shows the Reset Password button.
If the clock doesn’t show the Reset Password button, you don’t have the ability to reset your employees’ passwords. Contact your system administrator for more information.
To reset an employee’s password:
- In the self-service home screen, tap Employees.
- Select an employee from the list.
- In the employee’s profile, tap Reset Password.
- When prompted, enter the new password for the employee in the appropriate fields.
- Tap Save.
- The clock verifies that the password meets your organization’s password requirements. If it doesn’t meet the requirements, the clock prompts you to enter a different password.
