Biometric Functions

This section describes each function that’s available in the <biometric_functions> section. When enabled, you can access these functions in admin mode by tapping the Fingerprint Enrollment button to open the Biometric Mode screen.

Each biometric function contains a key attribute that controls the order in which functions are shown. The functions are shown in the following order:

For example, to specify that the Enroll Employee button is shown at the far left, assign it to the F1 key. Similarly, to place the View Enrollment Statistics button at the far right, assign it to the F5 key.

Biometric Mode functions

Button	Function
	bio_enroll Enroll employees for biometric verification.
	bio_test Test an employee’s biometric template to ensure that it will pass validation.
	bio_delete Delete an employee’s biometric template.
	bio_delete_all Delete all of the templates stored in the database.
	bio_template_count View information such as how many employees are enrolled for biometric verification.
