Attest Missed Breaks

Depending on your clock’s configuration, you might be able to end your shift and attest (that is, report) that you didn’t take a rest period, which might qualify you for a premium for the extra time worked. When you tap the appropriate End Shift button, the clock prompts you with an attestation dialog box that you must complete before your clock entry is accepted.

To end your shift and report a missed break:

  1. In the home screen, tap the following End Shift button:
  2. End Shift button that's used to clock out and attest a missed break.
  3. Enter your badge number and perform any additional steps that your clock is configured for, such as biometric verification, PIN entry, and picture capture. The attestation dialog box opens:
  4. Attestation dialog box, containing yes and no questions pertaining to missed meals and breaks.
  5. Select the appropriate answers to the questions. After you select your answers, the OK button turns green:
  6. Attestation dialog box with the missed meal and break questions answered.
  7. Note: The OK button is unavailable until you interact with the dialog box and select answers to the questions.
  8. Depending on your clock’s configuration, you might have to respond to an additional question. When you select No next to the “Have you taken all required breaks for this shift?” question, the clock might show a new question where you must respond with the number of breaks you took. The clock shows the “How many breaks did you take for this shift?” question when this requirement is enabled.
  9. Beside the “How many breaks did you take for this shift?” question, use the arrows to select the appropriate number.
  10. Tap OK to complete your clock out with attestation.
